
Dr. Bobbi Peterson

Dr. Bobbi Peterson was born in Newark, New Jersey. She knew from an early age that she wanted to help people achieve the beautiful, healthy smiles they desired. Her academic journey began at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology.
After completing dental school at Howard University in Washington, DC, Dr. Bobbi completed her residency program at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. She was then led to Maimonides Hospital in Borough Park, Brooklyn to complete her orthodontic residency program where they only accept two qualified candidates per year. There she obtained a certificate in Orthodontics and Dental of facial Orthopedics.
Dr. Bobbi ventured out on her own and quickly established her own private practice, “Aces Braces” in a family oriented setting, and serves a multicultural/diverse community in the heart of Brooklyn, NY. While running her own practice, Dr. Bobbi joined an extremely flourishing practice in Manhattan, NYC Cosmetic and General Dentistry to work side by side with the renowned dentist Dr. Catrise Austin, Dentist to the stars! Since then, Dr. Bobbi has been the orthodontist of choice, for numerous celebrities. She is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics, a Fellow with the World Federation of Orthodontics, and a Distinguished Consultant and Advisor in Dentistry to the National Institute of Medicine.
Dr. Bobbi has extensively lectured on orthodontic procedures on African American children with the Boston Institute of Orthodontics and received the Award of Excellence from the National Board of Dental Sciences, in 2013. She’s also been named Top Orthodontist in New York City by the International Association of Dentists in 2014 and has been recognized and distinguished by the School of Human Rights, with the Excellence in Achievement Award.
Dr. Bobbi currently serves as a board member for ULF. She is also a proud Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
